Affiliate disclosure

Status

We plan to join the Temu Affiliate Program but haven't yet. Until we do, there are no affiliate links anywhere on this site. This page explains how they will work.

The short version

• Our review posts contain affiliate links to Temu. If you buy something through one, we may earn a commission.
• Every review post with an affiliate link says so at the very top: "I get commissions for purchases made through links in this post."
• Every affiliate link has the words "Paid link" right beside it.
• We only review things we bought with our own money and used ourselves.

What an affiliate link is

An affiliate link is a link that tells the store we sent you. If you then buy something, the store may pay us a commission under its affiliate program. Once we join the Temu Affiliate Program, the affiliate links in our review posts will go to Temu.

How affiliate links are labeled

• At the top of the post. Each review post with an affiliate link starts with: "I get commissions for purchases made through links in this post."
• Beside every link. Each affiliate link or button has the words "Paid link" right next to it.
• For search engines. Affiliate links carry the rel="sponsored nofollow" attribute, which tells search engines the link is paid.
• No hidden links. We don't hide or disguise affiliate links, and this site has no redirect pages of its own: every affiliate link points straight at a Temu address. Temu's own short links (temu.to) may then forward you within Temu to the product page.

Links that are not affiliate links

Links to our own shops on Etsy, eBay and Gumroad, and to our social media pages, go to our own listings and profiles. They aren't affiliate links, and they aren't labeled "Paid link".

How we choose and write reviews

• We only review products we bought with our own money and used ourselves. We don't review things we haven't tried.
• Each review says what we paid, the date we paid it, and how long we used the product, and shows our own photos of it.
• Each review lists what we'd change, not just what we liked. A commission doesn't change what we write.
• Temu doesn't see or approve our reviews before they're posted. If we're ever given a product for free, the review will say so at the top.

About Temu

Temu is a separate company. We aren't Temu, we don't speak for Temu, and we don't handle Temu orders, shipping, returns or refunds. When you click a link to Temu, you leave our site and Temu's own terms and privacy policy apply. Our Privacy Policy explains what that means for your data.
